12.5.10

Funny is a relative term.

HassleBot yelled at me today, just like it has been for the last five months or so about once every week.
However, I think I'm going to take a moment to actually write something every time it tells me too. Who knows, it could lead somewhere...

I want to talk about Colour today. The dictionary states that colour is...

"the quality of an object or substance with respect to light reflected by the object, usually determined visually by measurement of hue, saturation, and brightness of the reflected light; saturation or chroma; hue."

But what is it really? What is RED? Why does it exist? I mean, we can all look at something and say, "Oh, that's red," but what does that mean? And how do you know it's red? No two people see colour exactly the same, but how dramatic of a change is it between one person and another? Doesn't that mean that RED could actually be GREEN? Which brings to the question: What is Green? Colour has many effects on each person. One person could hate it, another might think that no colour could possibly be better. To one person, YELLOW might mean "happiness," but to another it might only remind them of Pee. Ew. I'm not a philosopher, and no matter how hard I try, I could never sound like one. So, I'm just going to leave you with this song. I feel that it does a decent job at explaining at lease SOME of my ridiculous questions...
Please excuse the video. It's the song that matters.

I'm feeling pretty BLUE today.

The Grape Juice says NO!

He obviously doesn't like math.
And neither do I.
Especially when it means that I can't do anything because my sister won't just leave me alone!

Go do math shits somewhere else...

20.2.10

English Period.

What's this?
I'm typing out a blog during English when I should be researching about The Harlem Renaissance?
Oops.
Whatever, I don't believe anyone is actually doing what they are supposed to be doing anyway. Wait, that's a lie. The girl sitting next to me is actually doing her work... What a good kid.

It's been a while since I last updated on here, but not all that much has happened recently so there hasn't been any reason to post anything. I suppose I could talk about school, I mean, I'm in one right now, it only seems appropriate. Our second semester began a few weeks back and my schedule changed quite a bit. Instead of Introduction to Art, I'm now taking Draw and Design, I took Spanish last semester, and now I'm taking English (Am I the only one that sees the slightest amount of irony in that?), last semester I ended with History, this semester I finish up the day with Algebra 2. I'm pretty happy with the changes, all except for one thing. I was excited for the new semester because I would finally be through with History, well, to my disappointment, my new English class actually turned out to be just another History class... With more reading tacked on to it. LAME. But I guess it isn't so bad... I mean, I'd rather be reading To Kill a Mocking Bird than taking endless notes about World War 2. I don't like wars. Or killing. Or protective birds. But that's another story entirely. Maybe I'll talk about that sometime.
Shit. Class is nearly over. I'll continue this at home tonight.

~More Than One Day Later~

I just read over what I've written so far and... Well, I don't really feel like adding anything else. Wait, no. I never really concluded the above paragraph. I'm going to do that now...
Let's see... Oh! I know what to write.

School sucks.

25.1.10

Too late.

I just caught myself talking/complaining about something that would've been perfect to put into a blog again.
Why not put it on here anyway?
Because the person I was just talking to is the only one that actually watches this damn blog in the first place.
I highly doubt she wants to hear about it again.

Sigh...
That is all.

3.1.10

Comin' to an end.

Well, school starts up again tomorrow.
I'm not ready to go back quite yet.
I need two more days.

Anyway, the holiday break was not all that bad, really.
We went to Michigan. Actually, that's a lie, we were supposed to go to Michigan, but the weather decided to take a shit on Minnesota and our trip was cancelled. We were going to go snowmobiling and skiing there. Instead, the family hopped into the car and went to the Andes Mountains and went skiing for the day. I really like skiing, even if my hands get awfully cold way too quickly. The day after, we all hopped into the car again to meet a cousin of mine in Park Rapids to snowmobile. It was an interesting experience. A beautiful experience. I've never been in a forest like that. It didn't even look real. I kept thinking to myself we somehow entered a snow globe. We didn't. It was real. Night-riding is fun, but I'm such a paranoid freak when night becomes involved, which is weird because I prefer night over day.
X-mas was far from disappointing. I pretty much got everything I asked for, granted I didn't ask for much. I also got stuff I never asked for, but I still appreciated every gift because I could and would use all of them. I don't really feel like I should just start listing my gifts because I don't want to sound brag-y or anything. You'll find out about all of them in one way or another. Eventually.
New Years was wonderful. I was at my lover's house from 12:00 (noon), New Year's Eve, to 12:30 (am), New Year's Day. We had much merriment that day. All we did was play music and do sexy things. Weeeee!
The rest of the holiday break was full of laziness. Oh, how I love being lazy. It even says so on my profile. Check it out sometime.
Oh, and I had a Swimming & Diving Meet in Minneapolis just this last weekend. I'm going to save that for the next blog though because I'm tired.

'Night.

Scroll!

I played with the HTML on my blog and I created a neat background.
"Ooh... Some stars and a space ship. So neat..."
Well, scroll to the very bottom of the page and you'll see...

I'm very proud of myself for being able to do this.

I'm going to create a cleaner, more formal version of this later. For now, it will stay.
I love it so much.

I win.

I'm really good at winning.
I love it so much.

'Tis all I have to say for now.
*Flashes a pleasant smile*
